Hamburger Vegetable Soup

1 lb. ground turkey (ground beef works fine too)
5 c. beef stock (you could also use water)
1 16 oz. can petite diced tomatoes (don't drain)
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. celery, diced
1/3 c. pearl barley
1/4 c. catsup
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat in large pot. Add all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for an hour. Remove bay leaf and serve.
